Image Licensing Terms

All images on this website are the intellectual property of Alan Trammel and are protected by copyright law. Purchasing an image grants a license to use the image — it does not transfer ownership or copyright.

Grant of License:
Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the selected image(s) according to the license tier purchased.

Permitted Uses:
Depending on the license tier selected, permitted uses may include:

  • Editorial use (articles, blogs, online publications)

  • Personal or company websites

  • Digital marketing and social media

  • Print use in magazines or brochures (if included in your license tier)

Restrictions:
Unless expressly authorized in writing, you may NOT:

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the image(s)

  • Use the image(s) on merchandise, products, or for resale

  • Use the image(s) in logos, trademarks, or branding

  • Use the image(s) in any unlawful, defamatory, or misleading manner

  • Use the image(s) in a way that suggests endorsement by the photographer

  • Upload or use the image(s) for training artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning models, or similar technologies

Copyright and Ownership:
All copyrights remain with Alan Trammel. No ownership rights are transferred under this agreement.

Attribution:
Attribution is appreciated but not required unless specified in writing. When provided, attribution may be given as:

Duration and Territory:
Unless otherwise stated, licenses are granted on a perpetual, worldwide basis for the permitted uses outlined above.

Termination:
This license is automatically terminated if any of the terms are violated. Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the image(s) and delete all copies.

Limitation of Liability:
The photographer shall not be held liable for any claims, damages, or losses arising from the use or inability to use the image(s).

Model and Property Releases:
Unless explicitly stated, images are not guaranteed to include model or property releases. You are responsible for determining whether releases are required for your intended use.

Modifications:
Basic editing such as cropping or color adjustments is permitted. However, the image(s) may not be altered in a way that distorts, misrepresents, or degrades the original work.

Acceptance of Terms:
By purchasing and downloading any image from this site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Licensing Terms.
