Set among the dunes near Oregon Inlet in the Outer Banks, the Oregon Inlet Life Saving Station stands quietly against shifting sand and open coastal sky. Weathered siding and softened lines speak to time and exposure, while the light keeps the structure from feeling fixed in the present.
