Kirk Lens Collar for Nikon Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR Lens
This lens collar is a worthy upgrade to replace the factory-supplied collar and foot. This collar attaches directly to the rear lens barrel and secures with the silver locking knob.
Key features and handling:
• This knob makes rotating the camera from landscape to portrait while mounted to a tripod super easy. Just loosen the knob and turn.
• The foot itself makes a great carry handle, given its generous length.
• It has a QD socket compatible with QD swivels and straps.
• The foot is an Arca-type dovetail compatible with a wide variety of quick-release plates for gimbals and tripod heads.
This replacement collar and foot provide a much more secure connection and ease of handling. While pricey, the quality and performance are worth it.
I only recommend equipment that’s proven itself through early mornings, challenging weather, and my tendency to wander off trail for “just one more shot.”
